Monitoring trays for professional operators

Important info: Please note that due to recent changes in the safe use of rodenticides in the UK, amateur users are no longer allowed to bait with loose wheat or outside of a tamper-resistant bait station. For this reason, all baiting trays are considered professional use only.

• Small is suitable for mice only.
• Medium is suitable for mice and rats.
• Large is suitable for rats only.

Professional operators use bait trays to monitor rodenticide take when baiting in voids, attics, under flooring and other enclosed locations away from non-target animals.

Trays normally result in a faster acceptance of bait than tamper-resistant bait stations and hence widely used by professional operators when baiting for rats and mice.

Suitable for loose wheat and similar types of bait. Whilst they can be used for pasta sachets and blocks, there is a greater chance that the bait may be removed from the trays but not consumed.  For this reason, we recommend only using loose wheat type baits.

Medium bait trays are considered multi-species and can be suitable for both rats and mice. 

Large bait trays are considered for rats only; however, mice can feed on them.
